Fan Publication - "The Hobbit, An Art Book by Octo"

April 7, 2014 — Submitted by Urulöké

Octo Kwan's anime/manga style Tolkien-inspired artwork has been featured in Mallorn, Amon Hen and Beyond Bree, and has been exhibited in Hong Kong and in England. This book is an oversized softcover, with text in English and Chinese. I have not yet ordered a copy so I cannot comment on shipping costs to the USA (or elsewhere) yet - if you have placed an international order, can you share what the shipping costs are please? Reports I have heard from people who have seen the book is that it is quite nice.

I don't see the book listed on the publisher's website yet but it should be there soon: Sole Culture of Hong Kong.

The price is HK$199 (approximately US$26 / £15.50 / €18.75).
