This extremely rare Lord of the rings blacklight poster is a one of a kind gem. It's 45 years old and is in great condition. The art by Steve Sachs portraying Hobbits smoking pipes in a beautifully intricate tree setting is truly a masterpiece. You will find something new every time you look at it. And it looks even more amazing under a blacklight for all the very detailed white lines makes this poster stand out more than any other. It has been very well taken care of. It was rolled up when I got it and it looked like it has been rolled up and untouched for many years. The edges and corners are in excellent conditions with only the top left corner showing very small signs of deterioration. The only other flaws are some yellow splotches on some of the white border that aren't really noticeable unless looked at closely and 4 slight creases on the left side of the poster where you can tell at one point the poster got bent a little while rolled up. Once again, only noticeable upon close inspection. I've only been able to find a couple of these posters online and none of them are in good of shape as this one. If you are a Tolkien fan and want something that is one of a kind, this is the mother load. It measures L 35" W 23" so it's a good sized poster that will turn any room into a land of fantasy.
