THE HOBBIT or there and back again by J.R.R. Tolkien Beautifully Illustrated by him too! Numerous black and white illustrations and full page colour plates also. Published by George, Allen & Unwin 1978 Fourth Edition CONDITION AND DESCRIPTION: Book is housed in the original dustjacket. The inner prelims are not present on this book. Green cloth boards with gold/gilt lettering to the spine. Boards are clean and tightly bound: a very nice condition. Upon opening the book you come to the first 2 endpages and these show you 'Thor's Map' which is in a mint condition. There is a clear tape strip on the very last endpage. The inner prelim at the rear was once adhered but is not any longer. The tape does remain though. All the pages are clean and tightly bound throughout. The illustrations are all present, and these are just magnificent. Overall, a very nice book in a very nice condition.E N D RAPID DISPATCH.
