The BBC news website has just put this up:
"Tolkien festival to recreate Middle Earth in mid Wales"

Apparently, "Mr Faith said Tolkien, as a boy, was fascinated with the Welsh place names he saw on a train journey from Birmingham to Aberystwyth."
