Subject: Letter to Tolkein from publisher by MurphySG on 2012/7/14 9:24:26 Hi I have a letter dated 30 March 1936 from George Allen & Unwin Ltd to Tolkein enquiring about whether he would edit Clark-Hall’s Beowulf.
