| Visions of a Lost Realm | Subject: Visions of a Lost Realm by Tinfang_Warble on 2007/4/12 10:06:45
The Exhibition will contain the largest ever display of the artwork (including new original pieces and new Limited Edition Prints) of the world renowned Tolkien Illustrator, Ted Nasmith who will be attending throughout.
In addition the Tolkien inspired artist Ruth Lacon will be exhibiting her artwork and attending throughout. Her wonderful style contrasts dramatically to that of Ted Nasmith and reflects a more mediaeval and eastern style. Her works are seen in many decent Tolkien books, the most famous is the Tale of Gondolin.
Also announced is a special guest, no one less then Alan Lee. From his hand is the design for The Children of Hurin jacket. The Children of Hurin will also feature colour paintings and pencil drawings by Alan Lee, illustrator of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings Centenary Edition and Oscar®-winning designer of the film trilogy.
