Subject: Re: The Wonders of eBay by Khamūl on 2012/12/14 13:08:05 What is it with eBay auctions? This 2007 Silmarillion has a few days to run, & bidding is currently running at £50 (6 bids): The Silmarillion by J. R. R. Tolkien (Hardback, 2007) Because of eBay's clever ISBN matching features, it also helpfully (although mostly annoyingly) suggests other auctions for the same item. At the bottom of the screen it suggests the following auction: The Silmarillion, J. R. R. Tolkien 9780007264896 Book The same book; £34.79; free postage; & you can buy that book (which is also new) now... Why would the bidders on the first item not have noticed this? BH ![]() ![]() |
