Subject: Re: The wonders of eBay by Trotter on 2009/8/2 3:30:52 "What a bargain!!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/J-R-R-TOLKIEN-P ... 2|39%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50" The seller has updated his listing but it still makes no sense and reads like a Nigerian 419 email (ALL IN CAPS), I can't find any sale on Beren's site at the prices quoted. "NB - BEING AN ORIGINAL LIMITED EDITION THE LAST SALE OF THE SAME BOOK SOLD FOR $950 {£600} THROUGH THE TOLIEN (sic) LIBRARY.CHECK OUT THEIR WEBSITE- I,M (sic) NOT GOING TO PUSH THIS SALE- ITS (sic) A GOOD SALE PRICE - MY ITEMS ON EBAY NEED TO FIND THE RIGHT BUYER- AND IT (sic) WILL " Update - The text above has now been removed from the listing, I assume the seller looks at this site, as they also keep changing the price (need to reduce it to 10% to get a sale though) |
