Subject: Re: The Oxford Book of Greek Verse in Translation by Gawain on 2011/4/20 15:43:26 I have a 1942 edition (which has the same acknowledgement to Tolkien quoted by Beren) and states First Published January 1938 Reprinted February 1938, April 1938 1942 That suggests (as Beren says) that 1944 would be at least a 5th printing. |
