Subject: Need help identifying an edition of the Hobbit [US library rebinding]

I need help in identifying an edition of the Hobbit- here are the details -

First - The cover illustration is of A standing Hobbit - NOT a bowing hobbit

Title page shows picture of Bowing Hobbit - This is correct for the
first US Edition First Printing of this book

Date on title page is 1938 - Correct date for first edition of this book

Copyright page reads - copyright 1937 and 1938 by JRR Tolkein

Chapter 7 is numbered Chapter 6 (book has 2 chapters numbered VI) -
Correct for First US Edition First Printing of The Hobbit

The book has the colored plates called for in the First US Edition ,
First Printing of the Hobbit

The book is an ex library book and possibly a library edition of the
Hobbit - IT has NO front and rear maps

Has a stamp on the rear end sheet F.J.B. & Co July 1940

On the copyright page is the statement "Printed in the U.S.A. "
You can see the book on ebay at -

I would appreciate any comments.

thanks!
