Whether the word appeared on the cover of a book before or since is not in itself very significant. For one thing, the title is abbreviated - from 'The Homecoming of Beorhtnoth Beorhthelm's Son'. As I've said in a previous post, one of my favourites is this - http://www.tolkienbooks.net/php/details.php?reference=33420 - at only 300 copies, this one is actually rare. |
