One is marked, on Amazon, as "deluxe", the other is just a trade hardback I presume. The Hobbit [Special Edition] [Hardcover] J. R. R. Tolkien (Author), Jemima Catlin (Illustrator) The Hobbit [Hardcover] J. R. R. Tolkien (Author), Jemima Catlin (Illustrator) I think Wayne & Christina mentioned her name, but that aside, any particular reason, do we think, that a non-Tolkien illustrated Hobbit is coming out?; particularly in a deluxe edition.
