Subject: UK First Editon LOTR dustjacket spines by Trotter on 2013/1/6 6:14:08 I notice a difference between early 1st dust-jackets spines and later dust-jackets spines. The text appears to have moved, J.R.R. Tolkien moves down, the book title also moves, "Being the ...." seems to be in the same place and finally George Allen and Unwin also moves down. Does anyone know at what impression this happened? You can see an example here, look at the spine of the Fellowship. |
