Subject: Re: Hardback box set on eBay by garm on 2008/11/23 10:05:45 A set of LotR which looks exactly the same as the set in this box went unsold the other day - the price was £4.50. Okay, that's a fluke; but a good set can be had for not a lot of money. Add a Silm for around the same price (not hard to do at book fairs) and a copy of TH, and I reckon we're being asked to pay over £300.00 for the box. Too rich for my blood! |
