Not a "lot". Very funny Jeremy .
No, seriously, a Silmarillion?; even I'm not interested...

What??? ($350 for a large print Hobbit)

THE HOBBIT ~ JRR TOLKIEN ~ RARE LARGE PRINT EDITION OOP

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HOBBIT-JRR- ... tible&hash=item19c87daea5

A Rare Large Print Edition, only three more on eBay (one seller has more than 10 available of this rare book, how lucky!!!), amazingly all much cheaper

http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw ... rksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313

I also like to quote this seller's description and how it is ignored in this sale, and sadly most of his auctions.

A FEW WORDS ON TOLKIEN COLLECTIBILITY...I have been collecting Tolkien books for over 30 years and it really galls me to find people selling items for ridiculous prices claiming they are "rare" or "highly collectible"; and what's worse is, naive people are paying it~! The fact is, there are relatively few "RARE" Tolkien items on eBay and most of the stuff claimed as such, just isn't. Granted, some may be hard to find, but not rare.

Not a lot in the latest Lucius update - just a nice sounding Silmarillion:

Tolkien, J. R. R.: THE SILMARILLION London: George Allen and Unwin. 1977 [8278]
First edition, first printing. Original cloth in dustwrapper. A NEAR FINE copy without inscriptions or stamps in very NEAR FINE very slightly rubbed dustwrapper. Not price-clipped (£4.95 to the front flap). £28

From the One Ring.net

A discussion on Tolkien was held on the Irish radio station Newstalk last Sunday. Their “Talking History” program covered Tolkien’s life and how that influenced his writing. Guests included Julianne Stephens, Conor Kostick, Stephen Benedict, John Garth and Simon Tolkien

I've seen this set around on ABE - I think Bayntun's had it for sale at one time. I think it looks okay; a very nice sig. as far as I can see.
