I appreciate very much everyone that has answered my questions or given their opinions. I have come across an Easton Press Complete Guide to Middle Earth, the particular copy I am looking at is signed by Greg Hildebrandt. Any opinions, or thoughts are greatly appreciated!

I have one of the Roverandom Editions. It has a small green card inserted which states the limitation to 25 copies and the copy number.
Never seen the Hobbit or Silmarillion as of yet.

that's right. The auction title this seller chose was "books" (just the one word.)
books auction What is being sold is a brand new set of 13 History of Middle-earth paperbacks (the full HarperCollins set). Seems like a reasonable price for the set, and unless you are very specific in your search terms it didn't seem likely that this eBay nugget would be found.
