Why am I surprised that there is no Elvish translation on this page?

I was just made aware of this student discussion group by Janet Croft, who will be talking there tonight, and added them to the links section.

Student discussion group/organization at the University of New Mexico. They occasionally have guest lecture/appearances by Janet Croft and Verlyn Flieger.

They have produced two T-shirt designs, so I hope to find some images and get permission to add those to the Guide!

I just ran across these (they end in 16 hours) and the shipping to the USA is too much for me, but someone closer might be interested in them. There are some good/good+ condition Reader's Union copies of LOTR that appear to have legit MHRT bookplates in them.

I also feel that quality (condition) is the primary driver before number, though a low number is a nice thing to have.

Again, speaking for myself, when it comes to Deluxe Limited Editions, I generally only ever consider Fine Copies in Fine Slipcases (but may buy a Very Good to Near Fine Copy as a temporary copy if I came across a good deal), so a Fine Later Number (for me) would be much preferred to a Very Good/Near Fine Lower Number (with possible exception of copy numbers 1 to 5 of some of the editions).
