Wouldn't give anything by Alex Lewis / Ruth Lacon-Elizabeth Currie shelf space. And I have a shelf full of Jack Reacher novels, so I am really not discerning...

Neither of our two copies has the flaw, so it wasn't present throughout the print run. It looks as if something fell onto the printing plate. Probably it was caught before too many copies were marked this way.

I went to Alex's talk at Oxonmoot last weekend, probably will not bother in future years, poorly argued and not convincing.
