Hi everybody, hoping for some help on a 4 album set of J.R.R Tolkien with both he and son reading excerpt of stories. It has only had one owner (my husband) and is in extrordinary condition. One of the 4 has never been opened.

Description:
J.R.R. Tolkien Soundbook -4 record album set - 1977
J.R.R. reads excerpts from The Hobbit; The Lord of the Rings; Poems and Songs of the Middle Earth.

Christopher reads The Silmarillion- "Of Beren and Luthien"
can give more details if needed.

All records have original celophane and comes in a box case.
the one problem is that it came with a poster: "Map from the Silmarillian" but it is gone. ( my husband hung it on his wall when he was a boy...) thanks again, Oliver

Based on a Book called ‘Puffin By Design: 70 Years of Imagination 1940 to 2010’ by Phil Baines (Allen Lane, £20).

Eleanor Graham was strict when it came to one aspect of the series, however, only publishing stories she regarded as having lasting worth. Titles by Enid Blyton and JRR Tolkien were among those she felt less than worthy of Puffin.

An interesting quote as The Hobbit is the best selling children's book of all time.
