I was on tolkien-buecher.de this morning reading up on a new edition of The Hobbit that has been released, and tried to use Babel Fish to help me understand a word or two of German. Here is what it came up with (the original is first).

I love main header bits!

This expenditure replaces the until recently available 12. Edition of the not-illustrated expenditure of the main header bit (ISBN 978-3-608-93805-0) with Klett Cotta. Thus the publishing house has two different expenditures of the main header bit in the delivery program: on the one hand this new expenditure without illustrations and on the other hand the expenditure from the year 2009, illustrated by Alan Lee. As a speaker described us of Klett Cotta, one had taken over the text of the Alan Lee expenditure for the expenditure appeared now of 2009. In addition the single volume picture was arranged new.

Probably most of the regulars are all taken care of for back issues of Amon Hen, so this is mostly for the passing through traffic.

If you win any of the fanzines (mostly Amon Hen between issues 40-65) and mention TolkienGuide in the "request an invoice" at the end, I will give you a 20% discount on the total.

Sorry to say, I can't give the 20% discount on the book(s) being listed - just the fanzines.

Ha, that Signed Tolkien Illustration is hilariously bad; almost as good as that typewriter.

Your idea is good. It probably wont be noticed by many people but there is no harm in doing it.

Strange and slightly humorous tangent to this event...

The Cambrian News (the paper that broke the story that the Festival in the Shire was moving to a different location) has now been banned from certain meetings of the Machynlleth town council because of that "leak".
