Michael Drout is asking
If you've ever taken a Tolkien course at any level (hs, college, grad school), could you go to my blog http://wormtalk.blogspot.com, and leave a comment?

On Ebay now is an auction for the 1960 LotR Trilogy Readers Union Edition, which was only sold to members - not the general public!

Excellent condition - and better condition than others for sale, plenty of photos to see in supersize format.

Not priceclipped, maps are pristine, boards are excellent...go have a look see what you think! :)

The odds are good I think, but no doubt they were issued through various outlets.

Deagol, I notice from your website only one printing of the 1994 Book Club Edition.

What do you think about unpriced HC books being for BCA, like some of the HOME editions?

My 4th impression doesn't have a price either.
I think there will be a number of variations with printed prices and stickers, just like the HOME volumes issued by HarperCollins.
