What a magnificent piece of art!:

http://cgi.benl.ebay.be/Sauron-art-print-lord-the-rings-jrr-tolkien-5x7-/180613151948?pt=Art_Prints&hash=item2a0d61fccc#ht_500wt_1156

The abstract rendering of Sauron and the highly detailed Frodo(?)-figure: surely this must be the work of a master! The symbolism and emotions just drop off the painting. And then I haven't talked about the colours yet!
Too bad it's just a print...

Khamul,

The reason for the recent visitor section still saying 'Alpingloin' is that I am able to change my display name in the account settings, but not my actual user name (login name). Maybe Urulókë can help me straighten this out.

P.S. Not exactly sure about the increased usage of italics. Now that you mention it, though, I have been feeling a little slanty lately.

I have edited my earlier post to include the fact that their are at least two fake letters in existence.

If you were to accept that the letters are real (by ignoring all the evidence) then why would Tolkien sign both copies, he would only send one to Pauline.
