I guess HarperCollins will make another POD of this book, as they did with Christopher's The Saga of King Heidrek the Wise. No idea when, though...

I thought it was pretty uneven. It stated it was focusing on the Laxdaela Saga, and promptly didn't talk (much) about it. The general historical overviews touched on too much, and were far too superficial. Tolkien was discussed, accurately enough, but it had very little to do with the topic of the present programme. Since the focus was Iceland I thought they might discuss Morris. Hopefully some more programmes in the serious will be of better quality.
