I'll also vouch for orcraider - don't know him personally (wrong side of the pond) but we've dealt with many Tolkien related items before, and I've bought a couple of books from him through eBay without any issues at all. Great guy, and great auctions!

The eBay seller orcraider has got a couple of uncommon items for sale - Essays & Studies 1929, and a Middle English Losenger. He has had them for sale before, but the prices have been coming down.

(I should say that I do know him, but I am not connected with him; I'm just putting this up as a public service announcement).
