It is a reprint... not a new edition. The last batch has sold out...

So the last edition with pull-out letters has sold 32,000 copies; miniature edition sold 15,000 when released in 1999. Now the book is being reprinted, but will not undergo any changes (according to David Brawn, last time I spoke him)

Amazon do this occasionally with LFC. Lord knows why. In the past they have just been reprints.

It reads:

Publisher: HarperCollins Publishers Ltd; 25th Anniversary edition edition (1 Oct 2008)

- but The _Father Christmas Letters_ was first published in 1976; not 1983, so I'm at a loss, too.

Hi,

I was just wondering does anyone know if there was a revised edition of 'Letters from Father Christmas' published this year.

On Amazon, the book shows as being published in Oct 2008.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Letters-Fathe ... ?ie=UTF8&n=266239&s=books

The ISBN is the same as the 2004 Edition however.

Is there anything different about this edition or is it just a reprint of the 2004 Edition?

Any information would be much appreciated.

Many Thanks.
