I have just posted five Tolkien items on eBay, including three Silmarillions. More items (although, alas, no more Silmarillions) will follow soon. Seller ID there is wellinghall

KF might be Katherine Farrer.
Not a great example of his signature, but possible I think.

What do you guys think of this one?

Signed Beowulf on eBay

It has a nice image of the dedication, so lots of handwriting to see.

If any of you are looking for a copy of War and the Works of J.R.R. Tolkien by Janet Brennan Croft, there is a reasonably priced copy on the UK Amazon (about 15 pounds): http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-list ... 5&creativeASIN=0313325928

By the way, I do not know the seller; I'm just trying to make you guys aware of the book. It seemed like a decent deal.

If you are interested in the Reverend Dodgeson (sic) book as Lewis Caroll and have never seen the original hand written and drawn version of Alice's Adventures Under Ground, then have a look at the Turning The Pages project by the British Library, if you have the right software installed you can zoom in and see every page in the book.

Windows XP or Vista version with .Net installed

If the link above does not work on your PC try this one
