Put this up just in time for the holidays. I got this copy from Patrick Breen, the son of Walter Breen and Marion Zimmer Bradley (noted names from Tolkien fandom in the 60's and early 70's.)

I hope it makes someone a nice present!

The copies of Medium Aevum are listed as a result of the recent copies on eBay - I won those to upgrade my collection, so the ones for sale are surplus to requirements. As you say, very scarce items.

The dynamic eBay lists sound like a good idea. Could we also nominate favourite eBay sellers as well?

P.S. I had to google the nerf herders reference!

Yep, I just checked my records and I bought one of those super-cheap Silmarillion Deluxe books from him back in 2004. I remember thinking that they must have been selling really poorly and so HarperCollins must have been putting them out as remainders.

I also don't think that HC will be going after the buyers - not only does it sound like they are getting restitution from the thief, but the cost of tracking down and reclaiming the stolen property is likely to be higher than the value of the merchandise to them, so they would lose more money in the process.
