I think it is a great idea to approach the ITF with a request to join independently. I have no problem if they are not interested, but it does not hurt to ask. Pieter should definitely be invited in as well, if TCG is worth considering.

The index confirms it is in issue #57, pp. 4-10. From the Index summary p. 21 (still haven't seen the full article):


Asserts that "The Hobbit, differing greatly in tone, is nonetheless a retelling of the incidents that comprise the plot and the digressions in both parts of Beowulf."

However, his retelling is from a Christian point of view.


The dissertation is more than 200 pp. long. I sent you a separate email on the dissertation, which is obtainable through ProQuest with a subscription.
