I've been talking with the publisher of Kirk's Works - a catalog of where Tim Kirk's art has appeared through 1980 (covering his fan art years fairly completely).

There is a stack of brand new copies (new old stock, first printings from 1980) that I will be making available at the original price of $10 in my next catalog due very soon now.

I've also been talking with Tim and the publisher and editor about making a limited edition signed plate to include with the book - perhaps a new drawing by Tim, signed by all three. How many of you would be interested in a copy of this? Price is not fixed yet, but would probably be around $20 (book with plate tipped in).

Thanks Deagol!

I figured it was not very complete, but it is always nice to find another reference like that fanzine. (Makes you wonder about this Guide idea... my todo list is about as long as the fanzine list is that is already up.)

I agree with Beren, a non-responsive seller for a high ticket item is an easy deal killer.

Personally, I am a bit skeptical that for both The Hobbit and The Goblet of Fire. the signature pages are both a significantly different color than the facing page. Could possibly be a quirk of the lighting, but along with the lack of provenance, and a private auctions, my alarm bells are set ringing.
