Tons of fanzine section updates. Too many to list at the moment, but got the contents of I Palantir up, a bunch of smaller newsletters added, etc.

Added avatars for the discussion boards. Click on View Account on the left bar near the bottom, then click on the avatars button near the top, and upload your image (80x80 pixels).

Put a few shortcuts in the domain for the guide. So far,

http://fanzines.tolkienguide.com
http://books.tolkienguide.com
http://calendars.tolkienguide.com

are active. Just poking around to see if people find these useful.

Added a chat module, if you want to talk to me or others while I am online (you can see who is online in the left column if you are logged in). Chat module. Send me a private message if you want to chat and I am not in there. Just testing this out, usually there aren't too many of us online at the same time.

Deagol,

in your (excellent) bibliography, you list OP 1915 as having three impressions (1915, 2 in 1916), each indicated on the label of the front cover.

This eBay auction is a 1930 impression (also notes a 1924 impression) with a label on the front cover that does not seem to indicate any impressions.

The photos are poor (not quite "worst" caliber since I can read most of what I need to) but it seems an accurate listing. Were they printing this book into 1930? Time to check the impression page and not just look at those front cover labels...

I would certainly ask Mike Williams (TolkienCollector.com and the Shire Radio). The best audio expert I know... and nothing like a Richard Harris recording is listed on his site.

Since they call it a record, I assume it is vinyl and professionally produced. If it was a cassette tape, perhaps it was an amateur recording - I know of a few from the sixties that were never officially licensed/released.

One last note, "Toys, Games etc." seemed a poor place to have this useful thread, so I will move it to a new Audio/Video category.

Anyone seen this bibliography from 1972? Not cited much if at all (though it is in Åke Bertenstam's bibliography and the Marquette collection), only 31 pp.

Found a bibliographical reference for Mumak #2, so at least that one does exist somewhere out there in the world...
