Hi Bart - something is off in your numbering - I think whole number 52 (July 1977) is Volume 5, no. 7. Sadly I don't have a copy of any volume 5 issues personally, but my records show #53 was V5N8.

The catalog shows that the Wade center does have these issues.

I really prefer Smyth sewn bindings (see http://www.bookfactory.com/Smyth-sewn-books.html for example and description). So much better than glued bindings which seem the norm for many books nowadays...

For paper, I think I speak for many if not all here, that the glossy paper so in vogue (mostly on the China import editions) is horrible to hold and read. I personally much prefer very thick, high quality uncoated paper. I'm not an "India paper" or "bible paper" fan either.
