Khamul, would you agree with me that Poor (G-) would describe the slipcase above. (It is very bashed)

This is, unlike most eBay descriptions that I list, a rare item, but I question the slipcase description looking at the picture (shown below)

Lord of the Rings - Alan Lee - Centenary Ed. - 1992 in slipcase £269.90 Buy it Now

All three books are in very good condition. All spines faultless and tight. Dustjackets not price clipped and all in very good condition with only minimal wear (The Two Twoers even in near mint condition). Only the slipcase shows clears signs of use and wear and is only in acceptable condition with scratches and rubbing off to corners. But since there have only been about 100 slipcased editions been issued according to Peter Collier from tolkienlibrary it is save to say this is rare!

Looking at the picture below, do people think this is acceptable (in fact is acceptable a correct term for books or slipcases)??

I know that Khamul likes bargain Silm's

I think this item possibly does not fit the bill (£50, no dust jacket and a book club copy)

It is £40 today, what a bargain

This item would normally make it to the wonders of eBay thread, $200 is far too much for this item.
