I don't have the book in front of me at the moment, but I didn't see anything like that when I had a quick look earlier.

At first glance, It just looks like a simple reprint of the 50th Anniversary Edition with a New Dustjacket Design.

From the Copyright Page, the Printing Number is 4. So basically a 4th Printing of the 1999 Edition with a New DJ stating 60th Anniversary.

I will have another look later.

I ordered this book from a 3rd Party Seller on Amazon (after emailing to check that the DJ showed '60th Annviversary').

Arrived today and all looks okay. DJ does indeed state '60th Anniversary' on the DJ cover.

So looks like the book is in print. Not sure why it has not appeared on the tolkien.co.uk website yet though.

Thanks for the information alpingloin.

I am surprised they have sold as far as copy number 340. At a guess (and considering that they can now sell to the USA), this edition may sell out by mid next year. Much quicker than I thought with the price at £350. Of course, Sterling has depreciated dramatically against all other currencies in the past number of months, so I suppose it has been getting cheaper as the year has progressed. And with the additional 10% discount coupon and their large reduction in postage charges (previously £36 to Europe), it has become more reasonable to purchase.

Many Thanks for the information. Very much appreciated. I suspected it was probably just a reprint edition. Goodness knows why Amazon show it to be published in Oct 2008 though.

Many Thanks Again.

Hi,

I was just wondering does anyone know if there was a revised edition of 'Letters from Father Christmas' published this year.

On Amazon, the book shows as being published in Oct 2008.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Letters-Fathe ... ?ie=UTF8&n=266239&s=books

The ISBN is the same as the 2004 Edition however.

Is there anything different about this edition or is it just a reprint of the 2004 Edition?

Any information would be much appreciated.

Many Thanks.
