[Just seeking some info. here]

Anyone got Roots & Branches by Tom Shippey?

How many articles/pieces are actually in it? Amazon.co.uk cites it as 432 pgs; which seems quite large. And, I take it binding etc is as with other Walking Tree Publishers releases? Lastly does anyone think it likely that Amazon's current stock is anything other than 1st impressions? (what with Walking Tree Publishers being relatively small.)

Just thought I'd drop a note on Andy Compton's ADCbooks April 2008 A J R R Tolkien and Fantasy inspired Exibition titled Castles in the Mist. Just got flier today with TS/Mallorn.

Ted Nasmith & Ruth Lacon artwork (as usual with ADC events)
Special invited guests John Howe, Alan Lee and Roger Garland!!!! (All under one roof; all at one event!)

When you think of Tolkien art; not many other people spring to mind...

You sure you thought those bandings through Jeremy?

Almost everyone who posts here bought x2 Super De Luxe CoH's! Thats ~$1500 already!; although I suppose that could be viewed as exceptional.

I remember seeing three editions, all in the green leather:

The Hobbit - 1979 Folio Society Edition
Roverandom - 1998 HarperCollins First Edition
The Silmarillion - 1977 A&U First Edition

-Deagol

In your own collection?...

Seriously, does anyone (besides Pieter) actually have any of these? Especially interested in that rebound Silmarillion! Were the other two similarly limited Deagol/Beren? (to just 25 copies)
