Then for some corrections.

The italian Hobbit you signed for 1986 is really 1984: 1986 is a reprint.

You have the same italian Hobbit twice: once in 2000, and once in 2002. First printing for that edition is 1989.

And last but not least: expect to receive some italian covers soon (is a zip file OK, or do you prefer a single email for each cover?)

And here (hosted by ImageShack) is the cover of a CD that the S.T.I. issued to promote the 2007 calendar: the design is very similar to that of the calendar itself.

I attended the presentation of the calendar at the "Hobbiton" (the annual party of the Italian Tolkien Society), but I wasn't very interested (I'm not much into calendars). I only remember that the theme for the calendar is The Hobbit. The artists (all italian) are: Marco Addamiano, Francesca Bisaro, Maria Distefano, Marina Fusari, Francesca Gobbo, Alessandro Maccari, Dario Righetto, Maria Chiara Rossetti, Marina Sussa, Cinzia Zonta.

Sorry, but I cannot find anywhere a picture of ther calendar to show. I'll ask around if some of my friends have it.

You may be interested to know that there's another Tolkien calendar in Italy: it's the one made by the association "Eldalie", you can find here some pictures of the 2006 issue.

Ebay bid number 160026542991 (the auction expired yesterday). What do you think? Is it genuine or fake? I didn't bid because I wasn't sure, because the ebayer only has FB 3, and because he didn't accept Paypal.

I'm curious to see if anybody will buy it. Maybe it's all a joke on the part of the seller, who wishes to ironize on Tolkien Collectors, but I doubt it.
