Today I received a Dutch Linguaphone Course English. On two records it says that 'Prof. J.R.R. Tolkien' speaks on it. Also in the booklets Tolkien's name is mentioned as a participant. My question is: how much would this course be worth? If it is worth enough, I could insure it... I am not going to sell it, perhaps if I find another one and then I'll mention it here again. Hoping you can help me Onónion

Me neither. I saw him this morning on Ebay, and when I had a first look I thought it was a custom made slipcase. But when I looked better, I saw it wasn't.
Never have seen it before but I think £400 is a bit overrated for this boxset...

Can't wait to receive it...
 It's a very beautiful design, better than I had expected. The emblem has a beautiful mixture of colours, and the emblem is designed great too of course  They did more effort on this one I think than the deluxe editions of the Children of Húrin and The Silmarillion...

Heya!
I've got two questions about an edition of Pearl I bought lately: 1) In book it says 'First published in 1953' but below on the page it says 'Reprinted (...) from sheets of the first edition 1958, 1963' Is it a first impression or not? 2) What would the value of the book be?
