I realize this isn't Tolkien, but it is so bad I had to post it. At first, the listing looks somewhat legit, but look at the two pictures of the signature.

Notice anything...

Just goes to show that even with a supposed provenance, a signature could still be fake.

I'm beginning to have less and less faith in eBay.

For the record, this was the response I received when I inquired about the item's provenance: "I bought it in a [sic] anticuary in UK."

I compared 3 of the volumes randomly between HC & HM--BLT 1, Shaping of Me, and War of the Jewels were all the same.

On a side note, I hate that the Del Rey paperbacks have completely different pagination--it is so annoying.

HM have also released books 1, 2, and 3 in paperback (I believe that is it); I sure wish they had done all of them. If anyone knows of any other HM paperbacks of HoMe books, please let me know.
