Like most collectors, I mainly collect 1st, 1sts.

However, for research purposes, I also collect unpublished and uncollected images of Tolkien's letters. I have also acquired copies of most of Tolkien's published interviews, but there are still a few I still need. His interviews are fascinating.

I believe this one was originally listed on eBay; it is now for sale on abebooks. What a shame--oh how I loathe these letters.

Seems like a cool find. I saw it on eBay but ended up not bidding on it because of the library markings, though the first time it was listed was for $100; I almost bid on it then. You paid $200, correct? I still wouldn't mind owning it, but the library markings for me do depreciate the value and desirability of it. As far as value, I have no idea; Pieter would probably know best.

This is one of my best finds.

1st, 1st American edition of Farmer Giles of Ham very good + to near fine condition with dust jacket (same condition) for $15 buy it now on eBay.

The seller obviously didn't know what he was selling.

I'd buy the Return of the King.
