I replied to him that this was not enough info. Someone will spend thousands of dollars on this tough. I wish people would just not buy signed work without good provenance so the markey for fakes would go away.

Hi,

Im new to collecting tolkien books but Im a life long tolkien fan.

Im curious to hear what other people collect? I guess Im in the "completist" mode in that I would want every unique edition of JRRT's writting, not just early printings and collector's editions.

How about you? Is their a theme or focus to what you collect?
