Not at the moment, Harm, but we're looking into it.

I didn't get the Professor or the A&U employee. I hadn't thought of the smith by the time my wife said the answer.

I've just had this email from them.

"I apologize for the delay.

When we first started publishing the journal, we offered a multi-year special. However, for various reasons that have to do with our accounting systems, we do not currently offer multi-year subscriptions. I will pass along your request to others and we'll keep the idea in mind for the future.

Thank you for your interest in our work. "

This site:
http://vacations.suite101.com/article ... nd-city-walking-in-the-uk

has provided me with this quote:
"These include Sarehole Mill and the gates leading to the University of Birmingham law building. Both features are thought to have possibly inspired Birmingham born author JRR Tolkein when writing his epic novel The Lord of the Rings."

Okay, I'm laughing at the "Birmingham born" bit, but does anyone know about the gates leading to the University of Birmingham law building? I haven't heard of that as a source before, but this doesn't mean it isn't true.

The "Edge of the Wild" event, planned for 26 - 29 March in Moreton, is being postponed until an (unspecified) date in the summer. Angela Gardner's new book will be launched at the rescheduled event.
