Has anyone read "Arda Reconstructed: The Creation of the Published Silmarillion, by Douglas Charles Kane? Is it worth getting?

I ordered a deluxe Tales from the Perilous Realm on 9 January. It didn't arrive, and my two emails were ignored. I have now made three phone calls to HarperCollins, and finally got a promise that they will send me a copy; but I am not very impressed with them.

We've just got back from the book launch - picked up four copies (all dedicated by Angie), and ordered our deluxe copy (numbers are being allocated quickly!)

I've just seen a BAkshi colouring book on eBay:

I've just had an email from them offering 30% off, and decided this was the time to buy. The email claimed this would make the book £40 ... but the actual cost (£60 - 30%) is, of course, £42. Can't they even do simple arithmetic?

And they're still using WorldPay. Can't they even get their own payment system set up?

Worst of all, I think, are the increasing discounts on the super deluxe Children of Hurin ... which are hardly going to encourage an early take-up of future offers.
