My wife's grandmother was a book reviewer. We have her review copies of LotR. As far as I can tell, these are identical to the normal first edition / first impression (although I have never done a detailed, point-by-point comparison).

Hi folks

At this year's extended Oxonmoot I will be running an auction, for the benefit of the Tolkien Society. This should be an added attraction to come along! - and if you've got anything you'd like to donate (from a tatty paperback Silmarillion to a spare first edition Hobbit ), it will be gratefully received.
