Agree Khamul but a nice book to have in collection. It wasnt on for long at all so appears demand strong. Think this is the highest i have seen paid for such a copy?

I was a member for a while but like others cant see any reason for joining now unless you intend to buy 'other' books . That being said the quality of most of he ones i brought was good.
I do like the 'brown' editions that being said i did pick them up cheap so no doubt this has affected my judgement!

A good debate and one I am sure will reappear in the future especially as you say Khamul if another copy comes for sale.
Interestingly if you take average over last 3-4 years these appear once every 11-12 months vs POME say 4-5+ per year. That is telling me something but a good question for David to be sure.

My hunt will continue

LOL
I can see why your book buying days are now restricted. Nice . Careful of the sunlight though-I would have thought keeping on a bookcase would be better

Agree stu and think u did get lucky, maybe the same as I did with my 69 Lotr. People will pay what they see as fit and it is relative to the supply and demand factors and most importantly the desire of the individual.

What is most upsetting is that you will not sell yours! Good for you I say.
