Hi Max
This looks a good example of a genuine letter to me too. After so many recent fakes its good to see what appears ot be the 'real thing'
As Trotter advises there are numerous ways to sell, one factor might be how fast you want a buyer /need monies etc. No doubt you may even get some interest from forum members here!
Good luck what ever you decide

Hi
I would hang on. These copies are definately now hitting second hand market if in right place at right time. I picked up one pre christmas in quick ebay raid offering a reduced £180 for a quick cash sale and seller accepted. Admittidly had to collect which was a pain but well worth it. Great book and a low number thrown in.

Good luck

Hello Stephen
Andrews advise is good as there are many very experienced Tolkien collectors who view this site and will give their free expert opinion. In terms of selling there is of course ebay with a world wide audience and private auction houses. Both will take a commision (ebay 10% , auction houses usually 10-20%).

I am sure others will add their thoughts but i personally would auction via ebay with plenty of photos or simply set the figure you are happy with and make item a fixed price if not offay with auction system.

Look forward to viewing pictures
