More letters! I anticipate we will see more during 2010.

When i pointed it out to this seller he replied- 'Thanks for your opinion'

So long as people keep paying crazy prices for them the forgers will keep producing. Of course people still think they are getting a bargain and so will keep buying them.

Too true re ebay - I cant foresee any changes but worthy of an email for sure just out of principle.

Hello all
I know Christmas but when anyone gets a minute what are your views on this item.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... &ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

The photo was orignally very poor but now seller has added some more . Not had reply about who where and when obtained.

Of course rest of letter would have helped !

Thanks

Agree with garm. This dealer is good and always honest when i have had dealings with him. Bit pricey but a nice book with history

Great timeline Christina and Wayne
As I suspected!
I 100% agree with Jlong. Even with the facts aside this seller has never offered a half decent explanation as to how they came in possession of so many letters/items addressed to so many people.

The real disappointing thing for me is that people keep paying huge amounts of money for something which is clearly forged and I would concur that these are being produced by one person who is trickling them onto the market. Its happened before with other art/etc and it wouldnt suprise me if this is a similar scam driven by the huge amounts of money involved.

Rant over!

Look forward to more exciting items from this seller!
