1 - I paid the same amount as you 4 weeks after you brought yours ?!?!?
2 - My selling exp tells me you could sell for that sort of figure today if you wished so not lost any money

Not sure if this has been added/changed since initial posting but they admit it is a facs signature. So hang on why would i want to pay €50 to bid on a book i could pick up for not much more on ebay ?!??

either misled or misleading?
Re the fee - sorry what a scam . So you pay €50 just to get chance to bid. Even if it was a 'real sig I wouldnt pay to sign up.
I know some will say it will help with society funds but €50 - £40 come on that is mad isnt it

Interesting lot.
Is it a good price do we think? If you compare with the recent sale of the 3 histories for high £100s if not more I suppose its fairly good but on their own you could probably pick up for a lot less.

Only the second one i have seen - anyone got one ?

I bet David @ Bookshelf could make a case? anyone been down that avenue ?

The seller of the jacket also has a second impression hobbit coloured in! It was orignally advertised a while ago but didnt sell.
I did fancy the jacket but not at that price
