*grumble* I still regret not going a bit higher on the ebay auction of The Old English Exodus two days ago... it went for around £130. Only 3,000 copies printed, it seldom turns up. I would be a happy with a reprint, though, if it ever comes out.

My newly created blog, which might be of occasional interest to Tolkien enthusiasts.

I will mostly be posting (in English) about the publication history of Tolkien's works in Sweden. A very specialized topic, indeed, but hopefully shedding some light on material which might be difficult to acccess for non-Scandinavians interested in the matter. I will also try to present newly published books and articles related to Tolkien in Sweden, such as I suspect are worthy to be noted internationally.

Maybe it can inspire people of other nationalities to do something similar!

Reminds me of the POD A Middle English Vocabulary from last year.

geordie at the LotR Plaza shared this link (an article published in anticipation of the Irish translation):

http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/l ... 2/0317/1224313474042.html

Dr. Tom Hogan, son of Professor Jeremiah Hogan (who was a friend of Tolkien's in Ireland), discusses Tolkien's visits to his family and provides some quotes from formerly unknown letters.
