Anyone knows if this is a "fan edit" or an actual comic strip?

(I couldn't manage to post a comment to the page http://www.tolkienguide.com/modules/w ... x.php?page=Lembas%20Extra, so I'm posting here instead - got the message "No valid security code" or something like that...)

I got my copy of Lembas Extra: Proceedings [...] 2006 today from The Tolkien Shop. Two remarks:

1) The exact title is (compared to the one stated on Tolkienguide's page on Lembas Extra) "Lembas Extra: Proceedings of the 5th Unquendor Lustrum" (followed by "Baarlo, 9 - 11 June 2006"). This title also has a page on its own on Tolkienguide.com: http://www.tolkienguide.com/modules/wordpress/archives/30.

2) The date of publication is May 2008 (not 2007, although the work was copyrighted by the authors in that year). A second, revised printing was done in October 2008.

And for all you collectors, strive to buy a copy of this work - the papers are very interesting read and the publication include formerly unpublished letters by JRRT! (sorry for the insult, I forgot you are hardcore collectors - of course you already have it... )

Some years ago I was given Christina Scull and Wayne G. Hammond's excellent J.R.R. Tolkien: Artist and Illustrator (a birthday gift from my dear wife!).

Now, I have small question: Did this book include everything unique by JRRT (be it pieces of art or writings) that were already contained in Pictures of J.R.R. Tolkien? As the latter is out-of-print and expensive on ebay and similar, I would like to know if it is worth to try to acquire it (as I'm more of a collector of Tolkien's ideas than his books).

I guess there is an answer to my question in the foreword to JRRT: Artist and Illustrator. However, because of my present geographic location, I cannot access that work for the moment.

I'm planning to buy the three volumes of Collected Letters in a near future. I'll post here to let you know of any clues of unpublished letters by J.R.R. Tolkien.
