Posted the Calendar of the Month for June at:

www.tolkiencalendars.com

Chose to post this issue to honor the June birthday of Fangorn, a wonderful gentleman and giant in the Tolkien world.

Hope this finds all well and enjoying summer (even if it technically does not arrive for another two weeks!)

Away from The Green Hill Country,

Parmastahir

Updated the Calendar of the Month feature at:

www.tolkiencalendars.com

Here's your chance to walk down memory lane with a calendar that is today somewhat rarely seen. Happy May to all!

Geez, I thought it was "Speed Kills" ?!?

Am glad that you know how to do that "stuff." I didn't even program my current website. My son did during a college web class. (OK, I HAVE done all of the programming and updates based upon the templates that he provided.) So I'm impressed.

But how busy are we when we think that waiting only 8 seconds is SOOOOOOO much better than waiting 15? I think it speaks to the impatience resulting from wanting to do so much and only having so much time. I have to admit clicking my mouse a million times (seemed like that many, anyhow!) and yelling, "C'mon you stupid computer. Load the ^!$%%* page!"

Frankly, I don't care how long it takes. These pages are worth the wait (even if it were still an entire 15 seconds!) I don't post on everything. But I do read the many threads with interest (even if I don't collect the books.) Hearing what the knowledgeable have to say about the many subjects is worth the reads.

OK. I'll stop waxing philosophical and thank you for this site no matter how long it takes to get onto it!

Away from The Green Hill Country,

P

Contrary to an earlier post, I have replied to Urulókë's email (I still need some tutoring on the derivation of the new name!) and will accept the tea. As I noted to him, I don't remember the last time I won anything (except for $2 on a scratch off lottery ticket.) However, I have enough unopened calendars to satisfy that obsession. (OK, I'll never have enough but that's my problem!) So I will open the boxes of tea and share them with my coworkers (who are a great bunch of people), talk about this gift, capture their comments, and report back when I have done so. If I can find where to hide the boxes, I will stash them away though. I guess we all share that compulsion or we would not be posting here!

Don't keep me in suspenders! Did you hold the drawering? If so, (drum roll please) the winners are . . . ?
