These are the same fans that squeal with delight eveytime a new plastic action figure or movie prop replica is unveiled.

My question about a third film is; will it be The Hobbit broken up into three parts, or will it be the so-called "bridge" movie that was proposed by jackson originally.

That is an interesting point. My understanding is that Zaentz and company have no rights to material outside of the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings. However, some of the accounts of the First and Second Age are briefly mentioned in the appendices, including the tale of Beren and Luthien. I shudder to think of what jackson's adaptation of that would look like.

Oh, I'm pretty sure they knew what they had. There's a couple of dozen on abebooks right now - and the most expensive one is less than what this clown is asking.
