You are not confused but you are being confused!

You are absolutely correct and why wouldnt the seller then just add alittle to the price/opening bid. Absolute rubbish and the sceptic would say the seller is merely trying to charge extra costs in hope you dont see it!

As a seller i always refund postage overpayments as should be the case.

Must admit had a similar issue with over charged postage. When i queried why he had overcharged by 33% and wouldnt refund he stamped his feet and told me to stop being so tight! Nice!

Just brought a book an an old PR leaflet fell out of it. If only i had a time machine!
Deluxe poems or Hobbit for 17.50 or hows about a nice Pictures for £15 but best of all a signed red Sil for £100 or unsigned for £75. I suppose when i look at it and hindsight aside its not suprisiing they werent snapped up as at that price they were very expensive by comparison.

Ironically at £100 to current value circa £1500 plus its a 15 times increase whereby standard Simarillion was at time for sale at £5.95 - same'ish' price as now

Guess not as it looks as if it sold. The old supply and demand theory kicks in here. Might be wrong but i think last one sold for £350 as i recall so whilst it was a fair bit more i am not suprised it sold. It seems at the moment prices are dipping but real rare items still going up.
