There was a series of metal figures released in many European markets called The Lord of the Rings Collectors Models. They came with a magazine with each figure. Each painted figure is about two to three inches high. They were not available in the USA. I am interested in obtaining a set, or near set, of these as a lot. I have no interest in searching out some 90 individual figures and getting murdered on shipping to the States. If anyone has a bunch of these - and they do not have to be a complete collection - just a good quantity like 20 or more - and would like to part with them now that the film collecting fever has waned a bit - please PM me or post here. The magazines are not necessary.

Thanks to all who posted. This is most helpful. I will pursue the leads provided here.

Now if I could just find someone who bought the set with LOTR film fever and now is tiring of it.

Does anyone know about the LOTR figures released by Britain? I DO NOT mean any figures released in tha nation of Great Britain but am referring to the figures produced by the toy soldier company named Britains. They are known for very high quality toy soldiers. I would like to know several things if possible.
- variety of figures produced
- materials used
- size
- original price

if you have any of this info, it would be most appreciated if you would post here. Thanks.
