[Just seeking some info. here]

Anyone got Roots & Branches by Tom Shippey?

How many articles/pieces are actually in it? Amazon.co.uk cites it as 432 pgs; which seems quite large. And, I take it binding etc is as with other Walking Tree Publishers releases? Lastly does anyone think it likely that Amazon's current stock is anything other than 1st impressions? (what with Walking Tree Publishers being relatively small.)

It has twenty-three separate pieces in, ranging from two to twenty-four pages long. The book proper goes from page 1 to page 386; there are then sixteen pages of references and fifteen pages of index.

Binding is simple paperback, I think of the sort known as "perfect bound".

Yes, it is perfect bound. I don't have my copy in front of me to verify, but I know Walking Tree was leaning towards all POD books last time I talked with them (Print on Demand, so there is no concept of impressions - everything is a first edition until they make textual changes.) They were still occasionally doing traditional print runs on certain titles around 2006 (last time I talked with them about this) so it is possible this isn't POD, but I think it is.

The page count seems high (it wasn't that thick of a book). I'll confirm my copy in a few hours when I am at home. The publisher's website doesn't list the page count.

Whats that all about!?

? pages, Walking Tree Publishers 2007, Cormarė No. 11, ISBN: 978-3-905703-05-4.

Not sure why you'd want to put this up on our own website. How many pages was that book that you published? Ehhh.. don't know; don't seem to have one at hand...

Cheers for info.!
